The Fae National Government (FNG) was created in 2024 to serve the members of the Federal Administrative Enclave (FAE), which includes the Secwepemc territory and the Tswec tribe. We provide programs and services to the members of the nation including language and culture programs, youth events, and a forum for our member tribes.
The Fae National Government is incorporated as a Canadian federal non-profit indigenous governmental organization. In 2026 we became a member (regional government) of the United First Nations, and changed our name to reflect the regional district we represent. The FAE is a special district within the UFN, in that the members of the FNG council also sit on the UFN council.
The Fae National Government works outside the Indian Act; we are not regulated as an Indian Band or First Nation. Our structure is designed to be a self-styled traditional one, with a focus on self-government.
Our organization exists to provide services and programs to members and the nation. All tribal groups in our region are welcome to apply for membership.
We are slowly building our organization from the ground up, and look forward to growing and working with our nation, organizations, and governments as we move into the future.
